Pledges and payments
A pledge expresses an intention to support. It is not a completed payment, a receipt for funds received or an addition to the public received total.
Secure payment handoff
Online payment opens only when PCI has approved the checkout. Your amount is stated in UGX. Pesapal presents the payment methods available for PCI and any applicable checkout information.
Confirmation and public progress
A successful payment record follows server verification with the provider. PCI finance separately matches verified payments to settlement records. Public received figures use reconciled funds; pledges and pending payments are shown separately.
Payment problems, reversals and refund enquiries
If payment fails, remains pending or shows a reversal, retain your payment reference and contact PCI before paying again. Contact PCI for any refund request. This page does not promise an automatic refund or a processing deadline; PCI must approve its detailed refund terms before live checkout opens.
Campaign purpose
Walk for Education mobilises support for UCU–Kagando University College and the neighbouring nursery and primary school. Its UGX 25 billion target describes the five-year vision. Specific institutional sponsorship commitments are agreed separately with PCI.
